Why Build A Bridge?

by Danny Mack, Director

Why do people build bridges? It seems like an odd question, doesn’t it?

But if you stop to think about it, bridges are not natural. They are man-made. Bridges are built by people who have the vision to see beyond the way things are and see what can be.

Bridges are made because I am over here and you are over there. I need a way to cross over the gap so I can get to you. So I decide to build a bridge so I can get to you and you can get to me.

The bridge makes life better both of us. That is what we are about: building bridges to make life better.

Ed-U-CARE's purpose is to develop highly compassionate, skilled caregivers with a deep understanding of the needs of those in marginalized communities. This may include the elderly in long-term care facilities, LGBTQ, older adults, and veterans.

We are bridge builders. We develop strategies to bridge the gap from here to there.

Through education, seminars, and networking, we believe we change the world from the way it is to the way it could be.

Are you the kind of person who has wanted to make a difference? Have you ever thought there should be a way for those who are marginalized to get the help they need? Perhaps you think people should build bridges rather than walls.

Ed-U-Care is looking for people like you. People who want to build a bridge so life can be better for all of us.
